Do you have that feeling when people tell you to describe your self you start then you begin to really think about what next to say and then you have nothing. But when you listen to some songs it's like the artist got into you head and talks about how you're feeling or he is describing the situation you're going through to a very good extent. Well if you feel that way then i guess we are the same. So real quick i'm just going to list some of those songs that make me feel that way.

The song of the day is Welcome To Heartbreak by Kanye West with additional vocals by Kid Kudi and Jeff Bhasker. This song is from the timeless masterpiece 808's and Heartbreak released in 2008. If you have been reading a lot of my posts you would realize that i'm a big Kanye fan (thanks to kuyemazing). But really if you pay attention to the work he does you would realize that he is really good and kinda under appreciated. According to wikipedia welcome to heartbreak was inspired by a conversation with the MTV Executive Vice President Dave Sirulnick, who showed him some photos of his wife and children. If you listen to the words in the song there were a lot of paradoxes. The message in the song really is how his success has really hindered him from achieving some basic things. It is very reflective about his achievements but also makes him wonder if every thing he has gained or has been able to do is really worth it. The instruments in the song include Violins, String instruments, Heavy drums, keyboards and other instruments. This is one of the songs and albums that made good use of the autotune effect (vocoder). The song has this classical feel and is really calm and goes with the theme of the whole album.

Been So Long
I'm sure a few people have wondered if i would be doing any new compilations soon. Well i was out for so long due to the lack of material mostly and the lack of inspiration. But real quick here are ten pictures for you. Hope you enjoy 'em.
The song of the day was inspired by a tweet by someone from malawi complaining about Davido's booking fee apparently he collects $80,000 before I converted it I was like why is the guy even complaining sef... Then I did the conversion on google and I was just confused. I can't even type it sef so I will just do a snapshot and put it at the end of the post. Back to the matter, The Song of The Day is Owo Ni Koko By Omo Baba Lowo himself Davido. Owo Ni Koko is yoruba for "Money is the main thing" so i'm guessing all my initial explanation is making more sense right now, Right? The song is another chilled jam apparently Davido is leaning into the whole afro-house movement. It has this Tropical vibe and it is one of those tracks you can't but nod your head to. It was produced by J Fem.

The song of the day is Grandpa by Brymo off his 2013 album Merchants, Dealers and Slaves. Before I get into details about the song I really recommend you listen to this album, I'm just going to say it is one of the best afro soul/ afro pop albums if not the best one i've ever listened to. The song obviously from the title is about his grandfather, He describes his behaviour in the song. From the lines in the song he makes him come off as very irresponsible and tells us he lives kind of a reckless life. Take the following lines for examples "he get big big house we still dey live for gutter ... ask my grand papa for wisdom na only shayo you go get..." He also describes him as kind of a chilled guy amongst other descriptions. I do not actually know who produced the song but the Instrumental consists of Piano, stringed instruments, drums amongst other instruments the Brymo & producer really did a good job.
See the link to the song here
The song of the day is one of my best songs off the Westernised West Africa Mixtape by Mojeed released in 2014. Well the song was talking about a number of things like living life having fun, asking God for protection and guidance, girls, time, material things and just a lot of different things altogether. The beat was kind of calm and progressive consisting of drums, organs, pianos and some other instruments. Leri Q did a really good job on the track. Then one of my favorite lines from the song was when he goes: "...I had to stay by the border every morning waking up with someone else’s daughter I got the magic stick, na fi so mi di harry potter..." Well I can say I really like this track because its short, simple and just has this kinda very chilled vibe to it that I just cant explain.

Yeah lets flash back to 2011 one of the years that produced
the best rap albums. I remember this year so well there were too many good
albums out there, the competition was so much though there is an album I
consider to be the best that yet but that’s beside the point. SO real quick I
would list the albums that came out that year and then I would talk about them
briefly
Lasers
This was nice album
by Lupe Fiasco he had a lot of songs from this album on radios and on t.v It
could be said that it was commercial but I really like it though, with songs
like: The Show Goes On, Words I Never Said, I don’t wanna care right now, Outta
My Head and many more I really felt the album and I also liked the people he
choose to feature from Trey Songs to John Legend Chipmunk I was a really nice
album to vibe to and He didn't lose his Lupe feel on the album.
Cold World: Sideline Story
Well this was the first J.Cole album I listened to fully and
truthfully it was because of the song “Who that” when I heard he produced it
himself I was really intrigued (Because of the drums men, the drums) and I
wanted more so I listened to the album and I became a fan. But, I think he
likes to be too monotonous with his work, He should feature people more and
work with more producers. But really dope tracks were on this album like Mr.
Nice Watch, Can’t Get Enough, Work Out, In The Morning. His story telling is
also too good I have to mention that.
Finally Famous
Yeah I really didn't know what to expect when my friend gave
me this album to listen to but I ended up liking it though. He just had this
kinda cocky playful swag going on and I was feeling it though and he had a
number of hits off this album. The he was able to tell stories well like from
the songs Memories, Don’t tell me you love and get it. He also had a lot of
good features on the Album with people like Kanye West, Chris Brown, Lupe
Fiasco and other guys. Then popular songs
like My Last, I Do It & Dance(A$$).
Rolling Papers
I had heard a lot of Wiz Khalifa songs at the time I mean
the guy just kept on rolling out song after song Like No Sleep, Black and
Yellow, On My Level, Roll Up so I just decided to listen to the full album. I dint
realize how good the album was until like some time this year, The guy has a
different understanding of music and he has the Snoop Dogg flow in him. Then
the guy has too many songs that can escalate you my personal favorite being Top
Floor you should listen to it with really good speaker you would get what I’m
saying.
Tha Carter IV
Let me start by saying comparing this album to Tha Carter
III was what really made people to think this album was a letdown. I actually
took my time to listen to the album again after it came out and the hype had
died down the album was chilled surprisingly my favorite song was the
Intro/interlude/Outro the kind of guys weezy was able to get for the album
though but I do not think he really arranged the features his tracks very well
that was like his main problem he should have spread the guys of the outro
well. But he still had some tight songs like John, Mirrors, President Carter
and How To Love.
Take Care
I want to start by saying the album was not purely a rap
album but the guy killed it too much entirely. He made the mix with the whole
emo and the rapper guy mix well but sometimes he just sounded bitter. Other
than that it was crazy. Then Kendrick’s Buried Alive Verse DAMN! Drake had a
lot of nice jams like HYFR, Headlines, Crew Love, Take Care and some I’m not
mentioning. I would say again this was a very good album only short of great
because he was singing too much, but that’s just my own opinion.
Hell the Sequel
Starring Bad Meets Evil Eminem and Royce Da 5’9 made one of
the only two collaborative albums on this list. If you've been listening to
Eminem or you listen to him normally your reaction should be “ooooo, he has
come again, why now?” He came in with… I don’t even know how to explain him.
Then Royce Though I usually just heard him from slaughter house freestyles and
I could recognize his voice but I never really knew how hard he could go until
I heard the album he was usually keeping up well with Eminem and well Boy so
Bad. A lot of “wicked” tracks of this album like Fast Lane, I'm On Everything,
Loud Noises and Lighters just to mention a few.
Section 80
I would not lie I did not listen to this album in 2011 I
listened to it after I listened to The GOOD kid maad city album. After
listening to that late in 2012 I was hungry for more Kendrick Lamar projects
I've listened to six of his works since then but that’s beside the point. In my
own opinion this is where he really fully discovered his direction, the whole
deep guy thing he has going on this I where he polished it very well. It wasn't
a playful album at all; I’m guessing he really knew what he wanted to say and
he just went out and said it. The guy had me with the Ab Soul’s outro that’s
the song you should listen to first to really grab the Hiiipower movement he
was talking about. Then Rigamortus was another crazy track entirely I can’t
even begin to explain the tracks individually you should just go and listen to
the album.
Watch the Throne
Starring The Throne: Kanye West & Jay Z. Firstly I want to start by saying AHHHHHH!!! These guys just vexed and lowkey made the craziest album that year and refused to feature many people. Instead they just went and got crazy producers and weird ass concepts. Like Kanye should have spaced this album from My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy he just put the two works of art too close together is the only problem I can identify. The first thing that took me was the album art, shii. I’ve seen the real physical one it’s just too crazy. Then they featured only Frank Ocean, Beyoncé, Curtis Mayfield, Otis Reading & Mr. Hudson asin no rapper or main stream guy they just wanted to hug the spotlight. The luckiest person to be featured was Frank Ocean because Kanye listened to his Nostalgia, ULTRA mixtape he did that same year and became a fan and wanted to work with him. That aside the whole mixtures of themes just went too well on the album and the instruments they used were just I don’t know how to say it. Kanye really worked hard slyed his guys and just kept all the production projects he embarked on for himself and Jay Z then the just went harrrd on it together. Then a lot of production for the album was done in hotel rooms because he was angry that on his previous album the one just before Watch the Throne people were leaking his work. If I keep talking about the things that went on this topic would just be too long. Straight to the songs a lot of amazing songs were on this album like No Church In The Wild, Niggas In Paris, Otis & Murder To Excellence just to mention a few. But if you are able to go through the albums booklet there are some controversial images. But I guess the controversy is one of the things that they enjoy and leaves them in the public’s eye.
Honorable mentions
Ambition - Wale
The Red Album - The Game
Camp - Childish Gambino
My Super C Season - Naeto C
M.I2: The Movie - M.I
Everybody Loves Ice Prince - Ice Prince
This post is only about the albums I have fully listened to.
I while a go read an article on the rappers either of this generation or under 35 I cant remember exactly I think it was sometime in 2013 and Kanye West was number one I don't know why but before i actually took my time to really digest why they said so I just disagreed immediately and was like "I know he is very good does he really even rap like that, i mean really..." but now ive taken sometime to listen to a lot of projects since then and I have gotten a deeper understanding between these periods and that is what has lead to the album I would be focusing on today My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy by Kanye West released late in 2010.
I dont even know how to explain how much I like this album right now and in the last 2-3 weeks I have listened to it fully over 15 times. When I first listened around the time it came out I wasn't wise enough to fully understand the things he was explaining, I did not appreciate or understand the amount of work that went into the production of this particular project. But when i listen to it now... I think i should actually talk about the project now.
The people he had on this album I mean the Producers, Artists, vocalists, Instrumentalists, Comedians and I think he credited Amber Rose for vocals or hand clapping *really nigga, really?* The art direction was also very absurd and caused the album to be delayed but it really did pit the concept of the album together in my own opinion. The way he arranged his tracks then the movie for the album was just crazy. Then the most consistent Kanye thing was also visible(hearable) in the album his drums.
The singles on the album did too well All of The Lights, Runaway & Power the were everywhere at the time and they are still jams till today. The his skits the Chris Rock one though it was so explicit but it was too well related with the story Kanye was telling in the Blame Game and the Who Wants To Survive in America which spoke about the american dream really was just something else entirely. Other works from this album include Dark Fantasy, Monster, So Appalled, Lost In The World , Gorgeous, Hell Of A Life and Devil In A New Dress.
The when I read about the recording process, I mean he rented out the 3 studios in that particular studio and worked on different songs simultaneously then when he hit a wall he would leave that room to another room to work on another song. Also, when he was working on a particular song he heard an effect and knew which song it belonged to and abandoned what he was working on to work on the effect he had discovered.
He received mainly positive reviews for the work he did on this album, he dominated the charts in several countries, sold over 400,000 in its first week, won several awards and he won a Grammy award for Best Rap Album in 2012. I do not want to continue listing the awards this album won. In all the Kanye albums I have listened to this is my 3rd favorite album and I hope in his alleged "Paris" Album he would not disappoint and provide another classic album.
A lot of things have gone on this year musically though i haven't really arranged them as well as i wanted to or i should have. I've been able to go through a number of albums, E.P's and mixtapes this year and a number of them are impressive, some are just "aii" and some also just came out and I haven't listened to them as much but I hope someone can suggest to me how good the are or how much they enjoyed them so I know if to go on with them or I should just abandon them. So i will begin with the list:

Canadas Dj Maxjam is back with another amazing mixtape dedicated to Nigeria as they turn 54. It consists of the perfect blend of Afrobeats, with smash hits from various acts from the country including new school acts and the major reigning artists.

I've seeing different people complain about the bending of the new IPhone which have resulted into different harsh comments and trolls (asin ehn boys are not smiling after spending around 250k). Here are a few of them that I was able to find.
The Song of The Day is War Coming by Eva Alordiah featuring Mr Dauda and with backup vocals from Saeon. The song is another single off her debut album to be released this year (I done dey wait tey tey). Truthfully I wasn't really sure what was going on with the album but after I heard this i was re-inspired to anticipate the album. Well, I have to say the Sir Dauda guy did a very good job with his parts. The song has this folktale concept, the instruments used were in a way traditional especially the drums. The song leaned more to the alternative side and had some urban hints to it. Finally, i think the message of the is to reminds us that in life above all else, we are at war with ourselves.

The song of the day is Deuces by Chris Brown featuring Tyga and Kevin McCall(who also produced the song). The song was off Chris Brown & Tyga's Joint Mixtape Fan of a Fan released in 2010. The song talks about their failed relationships with their partners. The song is very slow, has a down tempo R&B vibe going on. The song was very big when it came out, then a remix was done that featured Drake, T.I., Kanye West, Fabolous, Rick Ross, & André 3000. Each person had a verse spoke about their own relationships then Chris Brown did the bridge and chorus on it. Its one of those song that you listen to when you just chilling and its one of my favorite songs by the artist.

The Lord Chronicles
The song of the day is Born To Die by Lana Dal Rey from her album Born To Die. The song was released late in 2011 before the album. Her style of music is very unique and hard to describe, but it has this indie kind of vibe. The song describes an unstable relationship a relationship so terrible that none of them wanted to leave. According to the singer, the song is an "homage to true love and a tribute to living life on the wild side". The song is soothing but the themes it speaks of are explicit. The lyrics are very poetic and the delivery holds it together too well. I don't even know how I began to like her work I guess its because its very different from the things I hear regularly. Her voice, attitude, themes she portrays and her art direction are some of the things I guess I also find appealing. The song gives me this happy feeling I don't understand though its very far from an upbeat or lively song.

The song of the day is Afire Love by Ed Sheeran from his 2014 album X. The song has this very calm & soothing vibe. His Grandfather was the person behind the story he was telling, he had Alzheimer's disease. The story began from Ed's childhood till his Grandfather's funeral. The song has samples elements from Remembering Jenny by Christophe Beck from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer soundtrack. This song could make you cry. He's like the female Taylor Swift with his good vocals and acoustic instruments. I don't really know why I like the song so much maybe because I can relate to it in a way. But its a really nice song and I recommend you should listen to it.

One day i was telling someone an almost unbelievable story about what I saw Beckham do in a video and the person was like "you can lie" in their mind. It has been too long since it happened so I can even remember who it was. So I've put up the video just in case the person sees it and for you to be amazed & enjoy.
I'm going to start by saying if this song was played at half time when Brazil Played Germany It would have been a different game entirely (please ooo im joking #TeamGermany), That it just to say how the song can inspire or ginger you. The song of the day is I'm The Man by Aloe Blacc from his album Lift Your Spirits, which it really does. Before i heard this song i had heard the name of the guy but i never actually really knew him. Then I heard parts of the song in a vane then i finally decided to download it, i really really felt it. I found out that the "You can tell everybody" part of the song was gotten from a song called "Your Man" written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin. He has this deep voice that you don't even really need to understand what he saying to get inspired but the lyrics were inspiring. The song is Aloe Blacc's most successful song, selling over 2 million copies in the US alone. Also, the video showed a lot of people that were significant in African American history like Martin Luther King Jr, Malcolm X, Stevie Wonder and some other people. Its a really nice song and i recommend you listen to it.

A popular saying goes something like this; "You never really know what you have till you lose it..." After recent events that occurred I was reminded that really Life is Not A Bed of Roses which is the title of the song of the day by Jesse Jags from the Jagz Nation Vol 1: Thy Nation Come album which was one of my best 5 nigerian albums from 2013. The song talks about different feelings and experiences that Jesse had gone through. The song is a smooth fusion of rap and r&b. The chorus pretty much stated that life is a daily hustle, ups and downs. Then in the verses he really went hard, he had this really cool flow that he went with which really went the message he was passing across. The sound is different from the sounds I hear normally is why I guess i'm drawn to it and it explain the situation i'm facing or i'm going to face eventually. Also, the production was another thing really liked it was just spot on.

Though the weekend is practical over i still wanna wish every one a happy weekend. The song of the day is Happy Weekend by Show Dem Camp produced by Kid Konnect released earlier this year. I mean this track is just a *jammmmm* it features all the members of the group, each member of the group described/played a part as a police office telling people to settle them for the weekend. The description was too visual and the video describe the lyrics too well. My favorite part of the song was when the first guy was like "...my regards to you wife and your children sha". I think I should have done this since Friday but anyhow, I hope you enjoy it.

Recently Nike have been posting some really nice videos and they just dropped this new animation. I saw the snippet a while ago, but they just released the short movie which featured a number of their ambassadors . Its about how they made the perfect players and the took over the players we know now and the had to redeem them selves and take back their place, Let me not be a spoiler so watch and enjoy the video below.
The song of the day is The Good, The Bad and The African by Omari one of the best rappers that i've heard from Nigeria, From the first version of The Rap is Deep Poetry Is Deeper Project (If i'm not mistaken) Before he dropped the newer one this year. The song begins with this Afro beat sample from one of Fela's songs before it began. The guys verses were very nice, it spoke about different things including Racism, Crisis, Poverty and his second verse was more descriptive about these themes. The the outro had a fan asking him to do more conventional music (in other words dance music). Also I really have to give credit to the producer he really helped portray/convey the message Omari was describing or sending.

The song of the day is dedicated to the abducted Chibok Girls. The song perfectly describes the situation in Nigeria at the moment, I pray that God will Intervene. The song of the day is Fire On The Mountain By Asa from her self titled album released in 2007. I marvel at the depth and the foresight she had in this song. At the time it came out i don't think I understood fully what she was saying at the time until recently when I really listened to what she was saying (Obviously I knew what she was saying but I did not appreciate it or really think of it as more than a song). There were several themes she spoke about like corruption, ignoring imminent danger, impartiality, the adverse effects of technology, sex and a host of other themes. The instruments that were used conveyed the message nicely and were mainly Acoustic but also consisted of other instruments like drums and tambourines if i'm not mistaken. Also, the vocals on the song were divine it was just too amazing. Asa may not be one of the most famous artists in Nigeria but with songs like this makes me consider her one of the best artist to have ever stepped on the Nigerian music scene. I consider this to be a classic song, I mean even after seven years it always sounds new and different to me. I recommend you take your time to listen to it even if you've heard it before as we continue to pray for action to be taken for the safe return of the Chibok Girls.

Barca Kits
Just saw the 2014/15 Barcelona Kits and im happy to say that they have regained their senses and have produced a very reasonable away kit, simple yet elegant and the home kit is also very good they maintained the traditional style blue and red stripes.
Some new music is out by my G Muyiwa ,Alaroye Featuring Tofa Produced by Nonso. Yeah this track is mixture of several genres. It consists of elements of Afro pop, House, R&B and still has that Nigerian feel. It is a story about a girl, I wont go further than this so you can find out and give it your own interpretation. So get it now!

The song of the day is There is God Oh by Dj Ziggy Featuring her excellency Patience Jonathan. All i can say is that this jam eh is a jam, asin its too tight (Chai). There were some other famous people that also featured in it, so don't dull and watch the video now!!!!
Yeah after watching triple threat show it got me thinking about some artists doing some songs or some projects together. I know you must have thought about it too but here i would just list five of my head ;
1) Drake, J.Cole & Kendrick Lamar
I have thought about this several times i can't even think exactly how it be like but there are just too many options and scenarios. But it would just be amazing , the kind of lines they would spit the things they would describe it would just be too on point.
2) Chris Brown & Drake
Though the have some issues they make really nice music individually and genres and styles are not to far off. I think collaborating would not be a bad idea at all (except if they fight or something)
3) B.O.J & Jesse Jagz
I'm really into that Alternative vibe that they both have and BOJ would probably kill the hook and the production would be really heavy. Most likely they would deliver a classic chilling jam.
4) Adele, Jhene Aiko & Taylor Swift
This would be the most emotional breakup song it would just too epic. I can only imagine the vocal performance it would be awesome, probably with some acoustic instruments they would leave niggas sobbing and what not(on some cry me a river stuff)
5) Beyonce, Eminem & Nas
All i can say is that it would be Legend... (wait for it) ...

The song of the day is Pluto(Remember You) by DJ Clock featuring Beatenberg released early in 2014 (i'm actually not really sure cause i couldn't find too much online) But it is The second single from house heavyweight South African producer, DJ Clock's album "The Fourth Tick”. The song is a very catchy House jam, the way things are going it's like house would soon become the new thing again. I don't really know much about DJ Clock but when I heard this song I don't know I just liked the guy. There very light vocals on the song that was done by Beatenberg, this light African vibe. I found out it got nominated for a MAMA award and it was on the List of South African number-one singles of 2014 for 10 weeks straight.

Ok, so its another monday morning, groggy me getting to work with nothing to do(yet) so i took some time to reflect on the happenings of the weekend. Oh by the way the morning wasn't so bad cuz i was talking to that person, you know? that person that you talk to in the morning and your day just starts off happy and all? yeah, that person. She just got back(don't ask) and all seems to be right with the world......seems. anyways so i was outchea tryna reflect and shii after talking with 'her', feeling rather giddy as she had made my groggy monday feel like a friday, funny how one person can make a "hard guy" into a fruit in seconds right? Anyways so this first part is for the guys.....have y'all ever had that "you dont say" moment with that certain female or even anybody for that matter? I'll elaborate, so i spoke to her this morning and in the course of our talks she mentioned trying to get songs unto her new phone from her system, now as a tech savvy guy that i am(hehehe) i asked what the matter/problem was, she said "oh, nothing". "Okayyy....but u just said u were having issues getting it done and stuff" i said with inquisitive sarcasm, then she said "oh no....its just this 'bandA' i was listening to and trying to get to my phone" (for the purpose of this post i shall be using "bandA" as a substitute for the actual artiste) and thats when it happened, the moment.....
i was like....."are u freaking kidding me!!! i"ve been begging you for months....months!!! to listen to 'band A' and how good they are" all to no avail, months after and she's like "oh well, its just this friend of mine that recommended it to me and i realized 'band A' is soo good, i love 'band A' so much", and i was outchea like.....
"YOU DON'T SAY?"
So this "friend" now has the ultimate say huh? some magical elixir in his/her speech that made what i'd been trying to get you to try out SUDDENLY make so much sense??? Fascinating.....
Now i know many guys have had this moment with females so i pose this to females.......Why the hell do y"all do that shit?? hmmmm??? Guys gimme ur feedback through comments and girls please kindly answer and give your opinions or attempts at explanations, thanks.
Yeah so its some new music by someone I know quite well Ace Venom from his soon to come Extended Play; The EP. This particular song featured J-Swiss and Da Boss, its a very dope Rap Hip-Hop track with some jazz elements in it. Its has like this cool kinda upbeat kinda vibe. Well its like and anthem and contains really witty lines that would give you something to think about. I've been kinda vague about cause i don't want to spoil it for you i want you to have your own opinion about it, I really recommend you listen to it and if you like it just share re-post and generally show support Thanks.

Ok first of all i'd like to apologise for being absent for awhile, been very busy with "stuffs" but nonetheless am back now. So, since i downloaded BOJ's mixtape #BOTM (Boj On The Microphone) i've not been able to get enough of it, been jamming it in my car, at home, while washing, while working out (ikr?) even at work (yh, at work). Now for those of you who dont know who BOJ is (you are all learners) BOJ is a member of the DRB Lasgidi group. BOJ represents the new wave of African vocalists that are definitely set to blow, with his ‘Baritonesque’ voice and very unique approach, he just always gets u into his groove, Cruella produced by CEO is one of the songs on the mixtape that i always put on repeat but i'm not going to be a spoil-sport so just download it here and enjoy.....oh and while you're at it you should download the full mixtape.....its really good #truestory.

Highlights
It seems like the rate at which rape is occurring is too high. I mean, I turned on my TV to watch some soccer then I just saw Ramos and Ronaldo straffing Bayern. I tried calling for help but it dint go through (I use a particular network, the situation is bad). Also Today i was watching the Chelsea game and the bus capsized i mean what is going on one minute they were leading then wham bam they just started chopping it. Well i just had to illustrate the scenarios as I witnessed. Enjoy!!!
I'm very sad that Liverpool may still not win the league (a moment of silence for them). Well there is still hope though. But it doesn't stop me from trolling them sha, so enjoy em while its still hot.
On his Eminem flow
Recently for some reason i have been going back to some old albums and for some reason i got addicted to My Dark Sick Twisted Fantasy by Kanye West released in 2010, The guy is just an Evil genius, asin ehn this album proved it. Though He is deviating in a way but the guy is just G.O.O.D (Lol, hope you get it ). The song of the day in particular is Blame Game featuring John Legend, I think if you know found out the kind of effort that went into the production you would appreciate it more. My favorite line from the song was when he was like " We got dirt on each other like mud wrestlers ...You gettin black mailed by that white girl...". The song was very explict he spoke about violent affection, being "private lovers but public enemies " and a lot of other themes where expressed. Also according to Wikipedia " Kanye West told Amber Rose that both "Blame Game" and the Runaway film were partially inspired by his relationship with her." Also at the end of the song there was this extra explicit rendition a skit by Chris Rock where He had a conversation( If i can even call it that) with a girl He just banged it was kinda hilarious but some people found it hilarious, I consider it a bit of both. Well this song was also featured in the the 35 minute video(short film) that was made for the My Dark Sick Twisted Fantasy album. This is my second best Kanye album ant this is one of my favorite songs.
Yup I've been compiling epic comments for a while and I was able to come up with some outrageous ish. Some are a bit offensive but i don't currr my ninja. Hope you enjoy em as much as i did though.
The song of the day is Sing About Me, I'm Dying Of Thirst off the Good Kid M.A.A.D city album by Kendrick Lamar released late in 2011. This is like one of my best songs, asin the story he was telling was just too deep and epic and the the effects the producer used complemented the story he was telling awesomely. I would briefly explain the story how I understand it. The first verse he was playing the character of a friend who 'envied' his lifestyle but couldn't become like him. He wanted him to talk about him when he made it. The second verse was connected to his previous project "Section 80", in one of the songs (I think its most likely Keisha's Song but it also be Tammy's Song) someone was pissed at him for talking about their sister and made how she lived. The attention he was bringing to her was unnecessary. Also, she required that lifestyle she adopted to survive. The last verse talks about several things, notably The after life, him trying to inspire people and teach them about the consequences of bad choices and or making the wrong decisions, also right before the Dying of Thirst side of the song began there was a part (kinda like a skit or something cut out from a movie) that sheds more light of the verse. Then the end of the first and second verse were complemented with effects that were related to the last things he said. The Dying of thirst part of the song had a faster beat and a completely different tune, then the background consisted of female vocals that ran through that side of the song. He trying to tell people in the M.A.A.D city to refrain from the lifestyle they have adopted. Then he suggested they find their passion and or they should embrace religion, and at the end of the verse there was another short skit (if I can call it that) where there were some guys that were persuaded to giving their life to Christ. This song is a classic and if you actually take your time to listen and make a good effort understand what he was trying express, you just would feel it.
