The song of the day is High by Eva off her GIGO E.P (2012). Its very unorthodox compared to most Nigerian song the style and tempo. Its a slow song with this very cool instrumental. It talks about the low points in life the struggles and how people would try to bring you down and how should just make an effort to rise above it all. When I hear songs like this I have hope that Nigerian music will eventually become different and more meaningful than it is now. If you haven't heard it before I recommend  you listen to it.
