The featured album is The Marshall Matters LP2 is due to be released on the 5th of November 2013. Its gonna be his 8th studio. See the album art and tracklist below
The song of the the day is Only Me by 2-Face from the album unstoppable(2010). It was talking mostly about how the environment around him was about how there was peace and unity through a joint community, but now it has been wrecked by greed and secret societies. As it talk about how he would live if it was only him in control. I guess he was trying to express his feelings about the situation around him. Its actually a very cool song and he pass across the message properly with the song.

Today Is "El Grand Classico", the most anticipated match of the season. For the past 3 days it is all I've been hearing about hopefully they wont disappoint.
The song of the day is Dr Carter By Lil' Wayne produced by Swiss Beats from one of my best rap albums of all time Tha Carter III(2008). Damn I remember this album though it sold over one million copies in its first week, It broke so many records and stuff. The song is about a doctor that fixes his patients with his words. Though his first two patients din't make it,he saved the last one. His flow and lyrics blew my mind on this track this was when Lil' Wayne was still "Lil' Wayne" (now he's just Wayne). It is a very different concept is why I like it a lot.

Hey people, now i realized its now friday, the last working day (for some) of what must have been a stressful week and i thought what better way to unwind and relieve stress (that's legal) than the new comedy special by one of my favourite comedians Kevin Hart. 'Let Me Explain' as it says was conceptualised to explain some things about him and 'set the record straight' about certain things, guaranteed to keep u laughing from start to finish, a real masterpiece of comedy that had a sold-out madison square gardens cracking up the whole time, so do yourself a solid, get a copy and get ready to LOL......literally.
So as we all know, Kendrick Lamar seems to have taken a rage pill of recent, like.....we know how hardcore Kendrick is and all but lately he has gone all out and H.A.M without regard to any other rappers in the game declaring his supremacy constantly. He murdered the T.D.E cypher for the 2013 BET awards.......no surprise but WOW! It was something else, a must watch for all Kendrick and rap fans, watch it HERE
The song of the day is International by Jesse Jagz from The Jagz Nation Vol 1 (2013)album. Through out the album I think he was just trying to make music not just for his fans but for himself and he was talking about where he was at that point in his life. The beat of the song was very original and he spoke with this freedom. Also I like the effects on the song it wasn't really a mad rap song though it was more r&b oriented. But it is a jam for days one of my favorites from the album.

The song of the day is Day 'n' Night by Kid Kudi from the album Man on the Moon: The End of Day(2008). Damn when I heard this song immediately I loved it and I began to like Kid Kudi immediately, he has that whole loner stoner thing and it fits him too well. But sadly his hype died down and he left g.o.o.d music. After this time he still had some nice music but this was like his debut single and the whole sound was different from what was out at the time and I think that was what made me like it so much. Also there is another version of the same song but it has more of a house like sound but its also very cool too that's the Kid Kudi Vs Crookers version. It ranked as number 8 of the complex.com best songs of the decade. The Kid Kudi Vs Crookers version was very popular in europe.

The song of the day is Hallelujah by J.Swiss and Nonso from the Music In Session E.P(2013). This is my best song from the E.P, its is an upbeat gospel song. Its been a while since I played a song from the E.P but when I played it today I remembered why I like the song so much. It talks about the love of God, Dancing and giving him thanks. Also the producer did a nice job with the mix and the beat. I recommend you listen to the song.

The song of the day is The Man Who Never Lied by Maroon 5 written majorly by lead singer Adam Levine from the album over exposed 2012. This track is like my best one out of this album, the Adam guy is just a song killer. The vocals on the song were too cool. There were a lot of other good songs on the but this one just had something I liked. It had this rock, pop like vibe but it was also not too loud and the instruments were well put together.

Today I'm gonna talk about one of my favorite albums from 2011, Watch The Throne by Jay-Z and Kanye West. Oh I remember this album too well I can even say I heard it too much even. They went too hard on the album with the producers they had like Swiss Beats, Don Jazzy , Kanye West himself and a host of others. They featured very few people and no rapper at all (guess they don't went anybody to steal their shine). With amazing songs like Otis, H.A.M , Made in America, Ni**as in Paris and many more. Frank Ocean featured on two song and I must say he did well. The beats were very nice and different from the sounds that were produced at the time. It received very positive reviews and it went platinum in about a month after selling over 400,000 copies in its first week. The album is still a very chilling album and I consider it a classic. In my opinion it is better than both their 2013 albums. But I feel they should have gotten more collaborations other that the album is a work of art.
The song of the day is Lost by Coldplay off the Album Death and All His Friends/Prospekts March(2008). There is a version that featured Jay-Z but the first one I heard had just them on it.It has their regular Alternative Rock sound and a steady build up. The song talks about the betrayals, lows points in life and rising above the situations and people that are trying to bring you down. Its very inspiring so far you get the message its pointing out. I like the whole guitar effect ant the part for the guitar solos. The vocals are calm and soothing , I get boosted a lot after hearing the song.It reminds me that not every thing will just come easy that you have to put in the effort and even when your loosing al hope is not completely lost.

The song of the day was requested by a reader and it is Beneath Your Beautiful by Labrinth featuring Emeli Sande from the album electronic earth(2012).The song was written by Emeli Sande ,Timothy Mc Kenzie and Mike Posner. The song was well pulled off by the duo. It sounded very emotional but over all it was a very good song. It has like an R&B, Soul vibe. When it came out there was a lot of controversy about the name because of the grammatical error in the name, it says your instead of you're . Labrinth defended him self but really he should have known. The song did well on the charts infact it is certified 5x platinum in Australia. I recommend you listen to it.

The Song of the day is Smooth Sailing by Burna Boy from the album L.I.F.E(2013).All the songs from the album were produced by Leriq I think he should have gotten a few other producers on his tracks not because Leriq is not good just for diversity.
Well I like the not so party sounds he went for (most of the songs on the album a like that) it was also progressive and it was just too cool. I like the way they started with the Piano it was nice. But I didn't understand when he said "...P laugh like potato..." The hook was very cool and and he just rode the instrumental so well. I found out some of his song are on rap genius but sadly this one wasn't there. This album itself is one of my favourite Nigerian albums for this year.

The song of the day is Don't Go by British Rapper Wretch 32 featuring English singer Josh Kumra from the album Black & White(2011). The first time I heard it was from a movie I'm not sure which one I liked it so much but I didn't know who did the song so I forgot about it but recently it resurfaced and for the last three days I've been listening to it non stop. The song is just amazing. I believe he calmed down and took a lot of time with this project cause it sounded like it came from the heart. This is one song I recommend you listen to today.

The song of the day is So Good By B.O.B featuring Ryan Tedder from One Republic its the second single from His album Strange Clouds(2012).I don't know how this guy gets his features and what they tell each other when they get in the studio because a lot of his collaborations especially with lowkey guys just blow my mind. This song is about having fun, travelling ,arts and Just Living the life so to say. He got good reviews for the song and it has gone multi platinum. Also this is one of my friends favourite songs and he has just been telling me about it daily and when I woke up that was the first song that played.

The song of the day is It All Belongs To You by Deitrick and Damita Haddon. It is a very powerful worship song. It talks about submission and total surrender to God. I heard the choir minister this song recently and I felt totally renewed afterwards. It is a very great gospel song with mind blowing vocals. I recommend you listen to it today.

The song of the day is Love Hate Thing by Wale featuring Sam Dew from the Album The Gifted(2013). He talks about a lot of different things in this song.I really liked the Vocals by Sam,he did really well the hook. The song sounded more like an R&B song than a rap song, I think that's what he was going for on this album.Well it sounded very calm and nice. This is one of my favourite songs from the album.

The song of the day is Young And Beautiful by Lana Del Rey, it was the first single from the The Great Gatsby: Music from Baz Luhrmann's Film soundtrack(2013).The song has gone platinum since it was released. It is a fruity song though it talks about love and what not. It is a nice relaxing tune, Its Alternative Rock Song. Its not my best Lana song but I heard it and it was very nice and it reminded me about her Born To Die Album(2012) which was a very cool album.

Adnan Januzaj Saved Manchester United yesterday with two srikes . I was very happy when I heard this. The 18 year old Belgian's was Manchester United's reserve of the season last season and is eligible to play for 5 countries hope he picks the right one. Also I hope he doesn't end up like Macheda.
I listened to the full mixtape this morning and thought why not write about it. The Mixtape I'm talking about is Comeback Season by Drake from the 2007. When someone tells me Drake is just an R&B Artist I tell them to go and listen to this mixtape because he really killed it. This mixtape came right before So Far Gone and my God I couldn't believe he was unsigned at the time because, His professionalism was already showing when he did this project and I was really feeling it.With songs like Replacement Girl,Man Of The Year,Give Ya,Dont You Have A Man and many more. I Also have to highlight his recurring collaborations with Trey Songz was something I looked forward to. Its pretty much Rap, Hip Hop and R&B. I listen to it now and it still gives me reasons to think and get inspired.

Some lines I did one time like this:
For the pretty girl with her eyes so smokey
The flow sick lemmie give it to you lowkey
Got the game locked with pins like we bowling
She wanna test this cause she know I'm balling
Black diamond rings men this is my calling
I wanna excel new row and column
As a sure boy men you know I gotta roll on
So many bars so I got the orange jacket on
The boy so hot so I got the ice on
Roll so many joints like bones in a skeleton
Bad guy joor like the boy in detention
Working very hard getting close to perfection
Gotta be steady killing it so I show no affection
Chopping the money like lagosians eat rice
Everybody getting high like the petrol price
And there's so much street cred cause the boy so nice
For the pretty girl with her eyes so smokey
The flow sick lemmie give it to you lowkey
Got the game locked with pins like we bowling
She wanna test this cause she know I'm balling
Black diamond rings men this is my calling
I wanna excel new row and column
As a sure boy men you know I gotta roll on
So many bars so I got the orange jacket on
