Err i've been quiet busy and havent been able to post regularly recently but I know I had to post something soon just to crack some people up. So just compiled a few things, check this this out.
The song of the day is BOTM(Boj On The Microphone) by DRB Lasgidi's BOJ off his #BOTM mixtape released in 2013. The song talked about the plans he had for both the present and the future. It had this kind of Afro Pop and R&B feel. It had really nice vocals, it had this really chilled vibe. But it was too short, it last for barely over two minutes. But I expect to hear more awesome songs from him soon after hearing other songs that he was featured on especially Feel Alright by Show Dem Camp. The whole alternative thing he has going on is just too cool and he did it again on this track.
High Volume was released by Skweird yesterday, I wanted to listen to the project properly before I wrote any thing about it and I wasn't disappointed at all afterwards, I really enjoyed it. It featured a few other upcoming Artists and producers namely Bris B, 3rty & Dyksen. He adopted different styles on the project but had mainly an Electro/House vibe overall. The E.P contained eight tracks in total, all produced by Skweird. The E.P was dope, it had this irregular but cool sound.I dont want to say too much but I recommend you listen to it.

The song of the day is Trophies by Drake of his extended play The Basics. The instrumental was originally created for Childish Gambino but he did not use it so eventually it was sent to Drake but he wasn't done with the song early enough so it did not make it to his Nothing Was The Same album. This was like my best best song of the E.P i did not really feel it so much but this song was cool though. He had this very laid back tone on this track. He clearly stated that this was not a love song because of the was people have be getting at him at making song that express his feelings. I enjoyed the way the instruments blended together and the effect at the end of the song. He just wrote this song to tell people what he’s achieved and show them no matter what they say he’s living it up.

The song of the day is Jaiye Jaiye byWiz Kid featuring Femi Kuti released in 2013. The song very popular, he adopted this kind of retro style ant tried to make it more urban and trendy. I really liked the instruments that were used on the song and Femi Kuti's contribution on the song was also very notable most especially at the outro. The song generally received positive reviews and gained massive airplay on several platforms (I mean come on its Wiz Kid). The song is pretty much saying he is thankful to God for his good fortune and how he is able to do some things and how he is balling. Also the production of the song was remarkable.
The song of the day is by Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen released in 2011. The song is an urban pop song about love at first sight, a girl hoping her crush would be persuaded to call her. The song was very commercially successful and got several award nominations including two Grammy categories but lost them both. The song was actually made famous buy Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez while they were still dating they heard it on the radio and tweeted about it. Justin really wanted to work with her after he heard it. The song performed very well on the charts and received airplay on numerous platforms. I was surprised when I heard she was around twenty eight when she blew up. It a very energetic song and it was featured on several TV shows also it was on Tap Tap revenge.
The song of the day is Fragile by Tech N9ne featuring Kendrick Lamar, ¡Mayday! and Kendall Morgan from his 2013 album Something Else. I realized this is his 13th studio album. It has this very calm vibe noticeably the guitar. The song was basically talking about critics and how they say anything about an artists work.He was saying he was sensitive about his work. Himself and Kendrick both had fierce/aggressive verses. I've listened to the song a lot of recent, I really like the concept and the vocals on the song are really nice.
