In recent years it's safe to consider Olamide one of the most successful if not the most successful Nigerian musicians. He's a traditional rapper, "Local Rapper" if you may and it apparent that this is a predominate time for others in that niche. 

"Badoo" as he's popularly know in the last five years he's released five albums. That's really impressive and difficult to do, not to talk of all the singles he releases along the line which usually have this commercial appear and acclaim. 

Personally I may not be his biggest fan but I must say the way he has come up and keeps evolving is very amazing. I've completely listened to  two out of his five albums and around half the songs on the album ended up as smash hit, that's really amazing.
